ABOUT US
Penn State Lyrical Line, popularly known as PLL Dance Co., is Penn State University's premier lyrical dance company. Our goal is to allow dancers to continue their passion for dance throughout college while bringing lyrical and contemporary dance to Penn State's Campus. PLL is very active around campus, participating in THON, Homecoming, Relay for Life, and performing at various events.
PLL was originally created as Peace. Love. Lyrical Dance Company in 2011 by Mary Schultz and Jillian Roberts. The two friends wanted to create a company for Penn State Students to pursue their love of dance with a lyrical and contemporary foundation. With the help of original executive board members—Alex Zack, Sarah Burger, Megan Cyran, Rebecca Zajac, Steph Zaino and Marissa Machak—PLL Dance Co. became a reality in the fall of 2012.
